ARFF’s 11th Annual General Meeting was held on 16th March, 2020 just a day after the Government announced the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) on 18th March, 2020 in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic. In view of such short notice, there was not enough time to cancel or postpone the AGM. Having a quorum, the 11th Annual General Meeting convened and a new Committee was elected under the leadership of President Dato’ Mike Loh, making him the 1st President to be elected just before ROS announced the postponement of all AGMs to be conducted in Malaysia to after June.

The MCO did not deter President Dato’ Mike in carrying out his duty and the 1st Committee Meeting was conducted via ZOOM on 8th April, 2020. In his opening address, President Dato’ Mike expressed his aspiration to make ARFF one of the top 10 Associations in the country within 2 years, being effective and well connected.
